From Potters Mills, go east on US 322 for 1.5 Miles to near the top of Seven Mountains Scenic Area, then follow marked state forest roads for 10 miles to Poe Valley. Follow the signs after arriving at Poe Valley to connect you to the road to get to Poe Paddy which is about 4 Miles from Poe Valley.

Poe Valley is a 620-Acre PA State Park in Penn Township, Centre County. The park is surrounded by Bald Eagle State Forest. Poe Paddy is 4 Miles to the east. The forests of the park surround the 25-Acre Poe Lake.

One of the main attractions is the Poe Paddy Tunnel which is part of Cherry Run Railroad. It is very neat to walk through as you feel a cool breeze when approaching. You may need a small flashlight to see as it is longer than the Tunnel Mountain Tunnel. Poe Paddy Tunnel is smooth cinder with no rocks.

There are various hiking trails throughout the park, camping sites & premier fishing! If you are a fisherman this is a stop that needs to be added to the bucketlist. People from all over drive here just to go fishing and check out the hiking trails.

The parks are open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset. Day use areas close at dusk. Access cannot be guaranteed in the Winter. Contact the Reeds Gap State Park office for facility seasons and hours.
